Who is
I was born in Vries on the 26th of June 1958.
In 1982 I got a BSc in Sience(Electronics)
After traveling through the World for my work
I started visiting the USA in the 90's.
During a visit at America's biggest Mall (The Mall Of America)
I stumbled upon the D-Day zippo.

It had a price of $16.95. I could not resist buying this zippo. And so I became a Zippo Collector.
During my work I visted the USA more than 15 times and the Zippo's kept coming in.
And so more than a hundred and fourty Zippo's followed and of course all the wanna have's around it.
After changing my Job the traveling was over. But the vacantions did bring me back to America several
times now. And with a visit to the Zippo Factory in 1998 a small dream came thrue

Somewhere around 1997 I became a member of the Dutch Zippo Club and started to attend the
meetings. I must say it is superb to meet other Zippo collectors there. On this site I will keep
on putting the photo's of these yearly meetings.
In 2002 I became (just in time) a charter member of the Zippo Click (first 1000 members).
Recently I accuired a Zippo out of my year of birth 1958

Collecting Zippo's is very interesting hobby. I hope i'll keep enjoying buying and collecting Zippo's for a lot of years
